Random Shimer murder mysteries? Supreme. So the choice was clear: I threw my sanity out the window and attended Justin's party at the Four Deuces speakeasy. I was Baroness Ravioli, the beloved mamma of "Big Jim" Ravioli (aka "Big Jim" Donovan). It was a blast.

Hey, at least this year it's only two papers in a week, and already I had a good draft for the bigger one. Last year it was heaven-knows-how-many in about 48 hours straight; one of the more painful experiences of my life, and one I'd care to never repeat. Live and learn, right?

Now it's THIS year's freshmen pulling marathon-writing stunts like I once did. I feel old.
