Hey everyone. I'm back to posting on this thing after a brief falling out. We're still dealing with Chicago's frigid winter, but, at least it's mixed with days that reach 45 degrees, which is incredible. I never in my life thought I'd consider 45 degrees to be warm. Ah well.
School is back in action for the spring semester and we recently had our Montagine competition! The highlight of the school year, because, we get to meet all the new students and tell them that Shimer...is Hogwarts. Can you say awesome?
I certainly can.
My classes are great! I am on my last 1/2 level course, Integrative Studies 2, and I have the pleasure of taking it with a lot of the newer students. Its a refreshing change of pace from spending my first 2 years sharing classes with all the same people. For any prospectives reading this: IS2 has *some things* to do with math but it is not the kind of course to discourage those who fear math. It's safe. Tread happily.
