Thor's wrath descended upon Chicago, the wind howling angrily, singing songs of conquest with the growling thunder. Lightning danced across the sky, joining the snow in its frenzied war march across the world, going every direction but down, yet somehow congregating into huge waves which overwhelmed everything below. And then the hail came, drumming the pace, encouraging the troops to keep up the onslaught.
Wind, snow, lightning, thunder and hail. Terrifying, awe-inspiring thundersnow.
It. Was. AWESOME. We even got a snow day out of it! I spent it reading Nietzsche and drinking tea, listening to the shouts of, "I've never seen this much snow!" drifting in through my window.
